Overall, we were actually blown away by the Dolphin and Swan (we stayed in both). Its hard to put into words, but we travelled as a family of 4 (me, my wife, daughter 17 and son 12). We stayed in a standard view with balcony and fireworks view from the 13th -17th Dec at the Dolphin, and 20th - 29th Dec resort view with Balcony in the Swan. From the moment we arrived, the scale and size of these hotels was evident. Check in was painless and the room was as described, and just like the video reviews we had watched. Actually plenty of room in both bedrooms at both hotels. For us the Swan rooms were slightly better, they are almost identical in size, but the beds are larger in the Swan which for us was appreciated (Dolphin UK double, Swan UK King). The bathroom configuration was also better at the Swan as it had a sink (Basin) in the toilet / shower, and on the outside vs the Dolphin which only had it on the outside of the toilet, for us with my daughter and wife getting ready in the morning, it helped. I would stress though to those overthinker (like me) both are more than sufficient for a family of 4 and it pretty much comes down to bed size. The Dolphin hotel was more impressive than the Swan, it had a slightly better vibe, i believe this was due to the bar / chill areas being larger and better laid out compared to the Swan, it was always more people using these areas in the Dolphin compared to the Swan as we walked passed them. You have access to both areas regardless to which hotel you stay in. This also goes for the hotel pools. The Dolphin has a lane pool and large pool with small slide and x3 jacuzzies, the Swan has a lane pool and x1 jacuzzi. Personally, i found the pool colder than i thought they would be, manageable, but compared to the Hard Rock pool (stayed here 17th - 20th Dec) it was a lot colder. Jacuzzies were lovely and warm. On the whole absolutely loved these hotels, the ease of access to Disney parks and overall feel was amazing.

The hotel is ideally located, with an exceptionally helpful staff. The connection to Disney runs seamlessly, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. I arrived with my son and, while the stay was pleasant overall, there were a couple of disappointments. I had booked a room with a balcony specifically to view the fireworks show, and requested a higher floor. Unfortunately, I was placed on the third floor, where the view was partially obstructed by trees and buildings, limiting the fireworks display. Additionally, the bathroom was quite small and outdated, clearly in need of renovation to meet modern standards. The use of curtains in the shower caused frequent leaks, which was inconvenient. On a positive note, the hotel’s restaurants are excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes. I highly recommend trying all the dining options, including those at the Swan. Despite the room issues, it was a good overall experience.

This Marriott hotel is a gem in the middle of Disney resorts. Perfect location for visiting Epcot and Hollywood studios, and you get early access to parks.Plus you have the Disney Boardwalk and Beach and Yacht Club in walking distance. Mini golf also close by. Enjoyed the fitness center and the jogging trail. Nice pools, activities, and restaurants. Beds are comfy. We upgraded to a balcony room on east side and were able to view Epcot’s fireworks from our room.

Gina

Front desk helped me merge 2 reservations so that I did not need to change rooms. Upgraded me to an EPCOT fireworks view room. Wife was very happy with that especially since we were celebrating our anniversary. Easy walk or boat ride to either EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. Easy to go over to the Boardwalk too. Able to fill up free water in the coffee shop daily so did not have to buy bottled water. Used the coffee maker daily along with the fridge.

Location amazing with great links to HS and Epcot. Room great with plenty of room for a 5th sleeper (junior suite). For those of you with a family of 5- definitely look at this place over the disney 5 beds (previously stayed at port Orleans). Shower great. Bed comfortable. Use of the app to request extra towels and coffee was quick and smooth. Great food options at the pool bar (if a little expensive).
